Delete your EAL account

Delete in the app

1. Sign in to East Alabama Live.
2. Open Profile and choose Delete account.
3. Review what deletion affects, enter your password, confirm, and choose Permanently delete account.

If you forgot your password, use Forgot password? on the sign-in screen before starting deletion.

What is deleted

The process deletes your EAL sign-in, access record, content-rule acceptances, account-synced publisher blocks, unused account-owned uploads, and optional explanations you submitted with reports. It removes your account identifier from event attribution, structured moderation records, and report resolutions. Official shared venue events and their referenced promotional images remain without your personal account attribution, and other venue members are not affected. Locally saved events and Support EAL purchases are not tied to the Firebase account.

If you cannot access the app

Email eal@cultivatemediaauburn.com with the subject “EAL account deletion request” and the account email. Do not send your password. We will verify account control before processing the request.

Administrator accounts

An administrator may delete their account even if it is the final active administrator. The app gives a specific warning before deletion. No replacement is promoted automatically and no other membership is changed, so EAL may temporarily have no in-app administrator until a trusted administrator is arranged separately.
